Warning: This site is set after A Dance with Dragons and will contain many book spoilers. Do not read on if you haven't read the books.
Westeros is on the brink of utter turmoil. The first snows of winter have finally come. In the North savage snowstorms lay waste to the land. Stannis Baratheon lies outside the walls of Winterfell, waiting for a battle with the Boltons that will change the history of Westeros. Inside the walls the Boltons control of the northern lords is beginning to fall apart as the Manderlys and Freys begin to fight one another, and "Arya" has escaped. Though is there a true Stark coming soon? Further north at the Wall the Night's Watch and the wildlings are at eachother's throats after the death of Lord Commander Jon Snow, though is this truly the end of him? Meanwhile they are ignorant to the Other's forces, amassing north of the Wall, and "dead things in the water" at Hardhome. Also beyond the Wall, Brandon Stark learns his craft as a greenseer from Bloodraven.
In the Riverlands, the Brotherhood without Banners led by Lady Stoneheart get vengeance on the Freys. The Freys and Lannisters have consolidated power in Riverrun, though the Blackfish is on the run and will no doubt want his home back. Jaime and Brienne are at the mercy of Lady Stoneheart as a Frey and Lannister wedding approaches. The Trident will surely run red with blood when all is done. Meanwhile, in the Vale, Alayne Stone prepares for a marriage with Harrold Hardyng, heir to the Vale, under Lord Petyr Baelish, Lord Paramount of the Vale. Though when her true Stark heritage is revealed, will Sansa be able to reclaim Winterfell?
King's Landing is undergoing great change after the walk of shame of Cersei Lannister and the assassination of Kevan Lannister and Grand Maester Pycelle. The Tyrells are swooping in to take control of the throne, though their homeland is not safe. The Ironborn, led by Euron Greyjoy, are attacking the Reach, while strange things are happening in the Citadel of Oldtown. Meanwhile Euron's brother, Victarion sails to Slaver's Bay to take the dragon queen Daenarys Targaryen for his wife, as she prepares to battle an army of slavers alongside Barristan Selmy, Tyrion Lannister, and an army of Dothraki screamers.
In the Stormlands the self-proclaimed son of Rhaegar Targaryen, Aegon VI, has returned to Westeros, and plans to take the throne. He has the support of the Golden Company, led by the exiled Jon Connington, and the mysterious Varys. Many of the lords of Westeros have welcomed his return and will surely help him in taking the throne. Though who will be his queen? Arianne Martell, Myrcella Lannister, Sansa Stark, or someone else entirely? Even more curiously, is he truly what he claims to be?
But while the lords of Westeros squabble over power a greater threat looms to the north, and they are almost ready to strike.
It is clear that it is a time of great change in Westeros, and the only thing's that certain is no one is safe.
This site is set just after the end of A Dance With Dragons. We will continue with the plot into the suspected plotlines of Winds of Winter and beyond. Of course, we have to be entirely speculative, but that's part of the fun.
