Willas Tyrell is the son to Mace Tyrell and Alerie Hightower, and the heir to Highgarden. He's known to be a both kind and well educated man, and the hawks, horses and hounds he breeds has given him renown. Since he is a cripple he have dedicated his time to scholarly studies, becoming far much more of a competent leader than his father ever were. Growing up with three younger siblings he have most likely picked up a fatherly trait when it comes to their safety, an example being that he nicknamed Garlan for ''The Gallant'', as he was a plump kid and Willas wanted to avoid him earning the same name as their uncle, ''Garth the Gross.'' While not nearly as skilled with a sword as Garlan or Loras, Willas holds his own with the pen, probably having more in common with his sister than anyone else in the Tyrell household.

-Describe your character's history in detail. (At least 300 words. Don't copy and paste.)
Willas was born as the firstborn child to Mace Tyrell and Alerie Hightower, thus becoming the heir of Highgarden. Born into the greenery that is Highgarden, Willas would most likely have had a pleasant childhood, and when he aged five he was even blessed with a little brother to play with. His father, Mace Tyrell had hopes for his son to become a new Leo Longthorn, one of the finest knights ever produced by the Tyrell line. Sending him into a tourney at young age did little for it though, since Willas was unhorsed and accidentally crippled by the Prince of Dorne Oberyn Martell. Creating sparks between the Tyrells and the Martells, both Willas and Oberyn kept contact after the accident, since they both shared the others passion for horses. After the incident, Willas began to dedicate himself to scholarly studies, earning himself a reputation as well educated, as well as being renown for breeding the finest hawks, horses and dogs in Westeros. During recent events affiliated with the powerplay around the Iron Throne, for a while Willas was meant to be married off to Sansa Stark, one of the late Lord Eddard Stark's children. Twice her age and crippled, he imagine that the offer must have sounded rough for a girl who had only spent her time in Winterfell, living on tales of Southern knights. Nonetheless, the arrangement was cancelled when Tywin Lannister married her off to his son Tyrion Lannister and instead tried to marry Cersei to Willas, an offer that was rejected. When the Ironborn came to the Reach in their longships, Willas guessed their strategy correctly and sent letters to Leyton Hightower of Oldtown, ordering him to strengthen his defenses since the Ironborn isn't an enemy to simply wave off into the distance, but that needs to be met by equal force.

Rubbing his tired eyes lightly with a thumb and middle finger, Willas Tyrell let out a silent yawn into the empty room. Fairly decorated, the walls around him were painted in a pattern of the house Tyrol's green and gold, with paintings on motives ranging from horses to people to ships. The interior was made up by a smooth couch in one corner and a desk with a chair facing the window in which Willas now sat. He let his hand fall down and search for the quiver again, thinking of the words he had to write. It was late, but apparently duty never slept, and he had to send this letter as swiftly as possible. Finding the feather, he dipped it lightly in the ink as he started to write.
Dear brother. Last night we received words from the coast acknowledging the capture of the Shield isles by the Ironborn. I know that you are currently pressing your claim on Brightwater keep, but we, I need you to raise the swords of the Reach and return here with any men you can muster. We don't know for how long the Iron Islanders will be occupied and every day is vital. Your brother, Willas.
Watching at the letters as they formed on the letter, Willas finally folded it together and put his seal on it, protecting it from the eyes of anyone else but his brother. Raising up calmly from the chair to avoid cramps in his legs after sitting down for so long, he let out a sigh of relief. The words of action had been shaped, now it was only to let the thorns of action take their place. The Greyjoy will regret the day they chose to bite the thorn He grinned slightly for himself as he grabbed his crutch, stepping out from the room and to the maester's chamber.
